Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa (BBBSCI) was honored to have Ruth Bropleh serve as an intern this summer through the Bank of America Student Leaders Program. Ruth will be a senior at North High School in Des Moines this up-coming school year. The Bank of America Student Leaders Program is an 8-week program which engages high school students from across the country with paid internships at a local nonprofit organization. Through this experience, interns are engaged in learning valuable civic, social, and business leadership skills they need to be successful in the workforce. BBBSCI was one of two nonprofits in Iowa chosen to participate in the program. Thank you to Bank of America for providing this opportunity!
