Defend Jordan’s Potential

Every child has potential. But not every child has somebody to look up to.

Jordan, a seven-year-old boy who lives in Des Moines, is ready for a Big Brother. He is one of the more than 80 youth in Central Iowa are waiting for a mentor – a friend, a role model – who will stand with them to defend their potential. Someone to empower, encourage, and inspire them to dream BIG.

Jordan loves to be outside and is waiting for a Big Brother to play soccer, basketball and football together. He desires to have a male role model to kick around a soccer ball, feed giraffes at the zoo and introduce him to new life experiences.

Having a Big Brother would give Jordan more than just a friend. Littles matched in our one-to-one mentoring programs develop self-confidence, improve their grades, connect more closely with their classmates, and engage in less risky life choices.

With your help, we can find Jordan a Big Brother and create a brighter future for young boys like him. Read more at www.bbbsia.org/Jordan.
