The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa team’s hearts are full! We are so thankful for our supporters for stepping up during COVID-19.
-Thank you to Tim Robinson, a teacher with Des Moines Public Schools. Tim used his entire stimulus check to purchase twenty $50 Hy-Vee gift cards for our Littles and their families. Adam Haugerud also donated five $20 Hy-Vee gift cards to distribute. Thank you, Tim and Adam!
-Thank you to our 45 founding members of the Little Big Academy! We will share an update on the Little Big Academy later this month. We are excited to launch this online hub where matches can learn, grow, and thrive when not able to meet in-person.
-Thank you to Eat Greater Des Moines for providing fresh produce and dairy boxes for our Littles and their families for four weeks this summer. Check out the photos below of BBBSCI staff distributing boxes to families!
