The Hy-Vee Kids’ Fishing Derby will be held at Water Works Park on Saturday, May 19th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We are looking for more than 150 volunteers to help out that day!

Nancy Sebring is the Omaha school district’s new superintendent, the school board there announced this afternoon to staff, parents and others. While a start date for Sebring was not announced, the school board in its message to the community, said it expected a “seamless transition to the 2012-13 school year.”
