I Am Enough
I Am Enough empowers young girls (ages 9-16) to realize that "They are Enough." Once a month, Champions (volunteers) lead empowering workshops for Little Sisters. Topics include overcoming obstacles and reaching your fullest potential. Curriculum is geared to Little Sisters in two groups: ages 9-12 and ages 13-16.

Future Pathways
Future Pathways is designed to guide Pathways Fellows (mentees) on a journey of self-discovery, skill development, and goal setting with the support of their Pathway Coaches (mentors). Fellows are young adults (between the ages of 18-22).
The program comprises 4 quarters, each with specific goals and activities aimed at helping Pathway Fellows explore and choose a life path, acquire essential life skills, and take steps toward their chosen pathways.
- Monthly meetings between Pathways Coaches, Pathways Fellow, and Future Pathways Coordinator- Ahmed Musa.
- Highly encouraged attendance at monthly program/workshops hosted by BBBSIA.
Become a Pathways Coach
Are you ready to inspire and guide the next generation? Volunteer as a Pathways Coach and share your expertise with young adults eager to succeed!
- Commit 4 Hours a Month: Make a difference with a manageable time commitment that fits into your schedule.
- Foster Supportive Relationships: Build a nurturing connection with your Pathways Fellow, helping them navigate their journey.
- Guide and Encourage: Assist your Fellow in setting and achieving their goals while teaching essential life skills.
- Facilitate Engaging Activities: Lead discussions, workshops, and activities that support your Fellow’s growth.
- Participate in Meetings: Attend monthly sessions and quarterly reviews to stay connected and engaged.

At Future Pathways, we empower 18 to 22 year-olds with everything they need to soar beyond high school, with the opportunity to earn up to $5,000.

- Self-Care and Wellness Support: Prioritize your well-being with our comprehensive wellness resources.

- Free Food at Every Workshop: Enjoy delicious meals while you learn and grow.
Prevention Focused Mentoring
The Improving Tomorrow: Prevention Focused Mentoring program is a grant funded program through the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services that BBBSIA received surrounding substance abuse and problem gambling reduction and prevention using life-skills approaches to youth behavior change. Littles starting in 4th grade qualify for the program. Participation in this program is voluntary for Bigs and parents/guardians and is one year in length, with reenrollment options. Sports Buddies
Sports Buddies provides a safe environment where youth (Littles) can participate in group sports alongside a caring adult mentor (Big).
BBBSIA plans sports-related activities for matches, like playing basketball at the Y or attending a hockey game.
