More than 250 Bigs, Littles and their families enjoyed a morning of fun at Salon Spa W’s Fourth Annual ZooDo event on Sunday, May 21 at the Blank Park Zoo.
More than 250 Bigs, Littles and their families enjoyed a morning of fun at Salon Spa W’s Fourth Annual ZooDo event on Sunday, May 21st at the Blank Park Zoo. China Wong, Owner of Salon Spa W; Alex Swanson, Director of Marketing and Communications at Salon Spa W; and the team at Salon Spa W sponsored this free event that gives our matches and their families a very special and memorable zoo experience.
Guests were greeted by the Salon Spa W team as they checked into the event at 8:30am. The event included a brunch catered by Baratta’s; activities such as jump rope, pictures with Wallaby, zoo-themed crafts; and a meet-and- greet with zoo animals! Guests channeled their favorite zoo animals, from tigers to butterflies, at the Salon Spa W Stylists’ face-painting station. New this year was an opportunity for guests to visit Kids’ Kingdom, where they fed zoo animals from llamas to goats to the koi in the koi pond. Afterwards, guests explored the zoo on their own, taking in the views of flamingos, giraffes, lemurs, penguins, rhinos and more! There was a photo opportunity with a Wallaby and guests got to take home a Polaroid photo keepsake and gift bag.
