The countdown to our signature fundraiser, Bowl For Kids’ Sake 2018, has begun. Whether you are a regular bowler or have never participated, we invite you to join us for Bowl For Kids’ Sake on Thursday, March 1, 2018! This is a great opportunity to get your friends, family or company together to have fun and raise money to support life-changing mentoring relationships in central Iowa!

Note: Times with an * require each team to raise $1,000. Times without an * require each participant to raise $125.
Just follow the simple steps below to be part of Bowl For Kids’ Sake:
1.) Start a team. Teams are formed with a maximum of five team members. Consider creating a team with family, friends, fraternity brothers, sorority sisters, or co-workers. Each team member is required to register on the Bowl For Kids’ Sake website using a valid email address or Facebook account. During the registration process, you will be prompted to create or join a team. The person who creates the team is automatically assigned as the team captain. A fundraising page is also created for each participant as well as a team page.
2.) Set a goal and fundraise. We require that each bowler raises $125, but many teams collectively raise over $1,000. The best part is that all of the event expenses are underwritten by our corporate sponsors. That means 100% of the money raised by bowlers goes directly towards supporting children served by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa.
3.) Start bowling. After you reach your fundraising goal, it’s time to have fun on Thursday, March 1 or Saturday, March 3! You’ll receive two free games of bowling (shoe and ball rental included!), a commemorative 50th Anniversary BBBSCI t-shirt and chances to win prizes!
Want to go above and beyond? Be part of the “Super Strike Club” and raise $1,000 as a team. Double the goal of $500 per team of four people and receive special perks at the event, including VIP treatment complete with pizza and drinks, and recognition at your lane. Double the goal, double the fun and enjoy these perks as we say thank you for all you have done.
Interested in being a sponsor for the event? Companies who sponsor Bowl For Kids’ Sake underwrite the costs associated with hosting the event. This means 100% of the money raised by bowlers goes directly towards supporting children served by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa.
