Thank you to Voya for their recent investment of $10,000 in support of our School-Based Mentoring Program! The School-Based Mentoring Program matches youth one-on-one with a mentor who meets with the child at his/her school each week during the school year. Matches, like Big Lenin and Ta’Jionna pictured below, enjoy reading books, playing educational games, shooting hoops, and working on schoolwork together. This grant will support background checks and interviews of Bigs, enrollment of Littles, and staff time to provide match support to Bigs, Littles, and Little’s teachers enrolled in the program.
