Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa's New Youth Mentoring Center

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa's (BBBSCI) new youth mentoring center, located at 2130 Grand Avenue in Des Moines, is set to tentatively open in Summer 2024. Renovations to make it more functional will begin this fall.

With the additional space in the new building, BBBSCI's goals can be achieved:

  • Mentor more youth
  • Give our Littles and Bigs a place to call homebase
  • Provide a safe space for young people to come
  • Additional community space for events, trainings, and meetings

"As the city of Des Moines and surrounding communities grow, the needs for mentoring our youth continue to grow – BBBSCI is uniquely positioned to step in and serve these needs," said BBBSCI CEO Bridget Cravens-Neely.
